Here are the results of your reading

Here's what we can tell you about your social life from the 4 cards you've just drawn

You're going to go through a period of retreat in your relationships over the coming weeks. Whether this is of your own volition or forced upon you, it will provide you with an excellent interval for focusing more closely on your own ideals, or for freeing you from certain influences and returning to your basic way of thinking. The way you communicate with those around you will automatically gain depth and you will seek out contact with people who are more mature, to benefit from their experience.

Over the next few weeks, you are going to go through great changes in your relationships!

First card: the World

The World card bears the number XXI, and it is the best card in the Tarot of Marseille. It is extremely positive. On it can be seen a naked woman, surrounded by the four elements at the source of life. The World represents flourishing and accomplishment in life. In this card, man has found harmony; unity between his body and soul. He possesses an inner wealth that cannot be shaken. This wisdom gives him strength and courage. The World card symbolises the Illuminated, he who has reached Nirvana; a freed being. In the first instance, this card can also announce travel, productive exchanges, movement, or creation. It is the card of success, a sign of recognition and development. It brings great joy and light, which naturally spreads to the cards around it.

Second card: The Emperor

This card bears the number IV. The Emperor holds power. It cannot really be determined from the image on the card if the Emperor is standing or seated. This gives the feeling of a being in motion, not resting in one place. After the Fool has discovered the elements from the Magician, learnt knowledge from the Papess, and created new ideas with the Empress, he encounters the Emperor. On the Fool's journey, the Emperor represents the stage of seeing plans through into the physical world. The Emperor holds his sceptre determinedly; you can tell that he is about to act. Unlike his wife the Empress, he is not a force of creation, he is one of action. The number IV is a sign of stability. In the Emperor can be seen courage, strength, and willpower, yet this card can sometimes be a sign of tyranny and excess. It symbolises the law, and the other cards drawn will accentuate the positive or negative effects of this Arcanum.

Third card: The Nameless One

This card bears the symbolic number XIII, and on it is depicted a skeleton holding a scythe. People are too quick to interpret this as representing death, but it is not the case. The Nameless Arcanum is more a sign of upheaval, new things, the destruction of a past state, and moving on to something else. It represents radical change. It is not necessarily a negative card. When found with the Fool, it means that the consultant will find the strength to make all their hopes come true. The Nameless Arcanum can also evoke a person's transformation; someone brutally finding their way and changing, to follow the path that they have chosen for themselves. The radical change that this card evokes can be either voluntary or forced. Of course, death can be a part of these changes, but it is not the only meaning of this card. Above all else, it symbolises the end of something, of a state of being.

Fourth card: Justice

Card VIII in the Tarot of Marseille defines what is just, and means that any business ventures will be carried out in honesty. Decisions made will have been thought about previously, and not just carried out on a whim. The scales of justice are depicted on the card, showing the pros and cons being weighed up before a decision is made. Justice signifies a confrontation with a situation, in which you are obliged to weigh up the good and the bad to act for the better. It can symbolise a contract that needs signing, or some sort of legal action. This card cannot be judged as entirely positive, however: more than anything, it shows that there is an obstacle in the way and that in order to act correctly, you will need to take your time and think things through.
